Does your neighbor's landscaping look amazing? Do you notice a neighbor working extra hard in their yard to help enhance our great community atmosphere? If so, nominate them for the Yard of the Month! The Yard of the Month program is intended to inspire residents of Daybreak to take pride in the appearance and upkeep of their yards and the exterior of their homes.

Yard of the Month Guidelines and Requirements

• 2 finalists and 1 grand prize winner will be awarded each month for Yard of the Month where the Association does not maintain all landscaping and structures.
• Homeowners must be current on all association fees and displays should not cause a disruption (at the discretion of the Daybreak Community Association). 
• Homeowners must not be in violation of any rules and regulations, etc.
• Homeowners are eligible to win only one prize per calendar year.
• The program shall run from June through December of each year.
• Judging is based on landscaping, holiday/home décor, and home and property maintenance.
• Nominations are made by the first of each month.
• Finalists are chosen by Daybreak’s Community Standards Committee and grand prize winners by the residents of Daybreak.
• Yard of the Month winners will be announced each winning month.
• Yard of the Month award signs are approved to be in the yard of the winner during the entire month of recognition.
• Prizes and certificates will be delivered to each winner.
• Video of the property and any special feature will be highlighted and filmed with the permission of the homeowner.
