With the warmer weather comes more opportunities to head over to Oquirrh Lake for some fishing. However, to protect the fragile landscape and make the experience enjoyable for everyone, there are a few things to keep in mind. 

Fishing is not permitted in the red areas on the map. Fishing is permitted only in the green areas along the shoreline. Fishing is not permitted from:

• Watercraft
• Docks
• Beaches
• Bridges
• Walkways
• Any structure

Gillnetting or other activities that could damage the liner of the lake are not allowed. Catch and release is encouraged, but two game fish are permitted. Anyone fishing must be licensed with Utah Fish and Game.
