Spring Cleanup

Time to Start Garden Cleanup
The weather is finally starting to warm up which means it is time to get outside and start yard maintenance. The community standards team would like to remind you about common maintenance needs. Below are items you should take care of this spring:

• Prune shrubs and perennial plants
• Remove weeds and grass from planter beds
• Mow and edge grass
• Remove dead leaves and plant debris
• Replace dead grass
• Ensure tree rings of mulch protect trunks from tool damage
The Resident Design Guidelines states that bark mulch must be shredded, natural, and dark brown in color. It is also helpful to add a mulch layer of 5"-6", doing this will greatly reduce the need to weed and will help with water retention so it will not be necessary to water as much.

Thank you in advance for your hard work and helping us keep Daybreak looking beautiful.
