Join the free classes for discounts on garden plots
Join Master Gardener Jenny Koller in her upcoming Garden Plot Series. She will be teaching the preparation and tricks to utilize our community garden plots. Residents who attend three of the four classes in the series will receive a complimentary garden plot for the 2021 season, as well as a gift to help with their upcoming garden season.*
March 3: Soil and Site Preparation - When we understand our soil and the nutrition it can provide, we can find success in anything we try to grow.
March 10: Irrigation - Efficient watering means effective watering. Learn how to set up a drip irrigation system at your garden plot.
March 17: Planting Guidelines and Selection - Growing the right plant in the right place is key to having a productive garden.
March 24: Maintenance and Harvesting - We will cover common pests, harvest timing, and what we need to do to maintain healthy plants throughout the growing season
*Complimentary garden plot vouchers will not get disbursed until after the third and fourth class in the series has finished. Vouchers are redeemable at the Association when registering for a garden plot. The voucher cannot be used as a reimbursement for a garden plot that has already been purchased. The voucher will hold no cash value and is only valid for the 2021 season.
