December 2020 R.A.D. Award: Jason Yeaman

Jason Yeaman Picture - RAD Award Dec.Jason Yeaman is the Resident Appreciation in Daybreak (R.A.D.) award recipient for December 2020!

One neighbor shared, “It seems as though on an almost daily basis, Jason is showcasing the beauty of our community with his gorgeous pictures on Facebook. I love seeing his amazing pictures of sunsets, the lake, the houses, the people, and the activities in our community. His pictures are uplifting and shared willingly with everyone. I love that he is so willing to freely share his talents, and in doing so, he is able to uplift and unify the community on social media.”

Jason graduated from Fire Controlman class A School in 1991, Aegis SPY1-D in 1993, and studied Information Networking and Telecommunications at Fort Hays State University in Kansas.  He now works as a Junior Employee with 388th Operations Support Squadron at Hill AFB, and owns and operates Dronentertainment - an Aerial Photography/Videography and sUAS services entity.

Jason says, “As a photographer, it would be easy to say the sunrises, sunsets, wide range of architecture and Oquirrh Lake make living in Daybreak spectacular… but all of that doesn’t even come close to the Daybreak community and the relationships we have made with our neighbors across the development.”

Jason is from San Diego, California. His favorite show is The Office. His favorite foods are any Filipino dishes his mom cooks, and he loves the Coconut Shrimp Tacos and a Juicy IPA from The Break. When asked something quirky about him, Jason said, ‘I have CDO. It’s exactly like OCD, except the letters are in alphabetical order… AS THEY SHOULD BE.”

Jason and his wife, Melinda, moved into a rental on SoDa Row in September, 2018. They loved it so much that they purchased a new build from Sego in January of 2019, which he says was the best decision ever.  Jason and Melinda have been married for 20 years and have a 19-year-old son, Casper, and a 15-year-old daughter, Audra. They also have two dogs, Greyson and Linus.
