COVID has thrown a wrench in so many plans this past causing increased stress and pressure! The increased stress and pressure can lead to emotional reactivity--like an angry outburst you later regret--as well as illness and breakdown of the body. Insomnia, chronic pain, and digestive issues can all be linked to unhealthy levels of stress.

LiveDAYBREAK is here to help and has invited Anna Smyth, Director of Mindfulness Utah, to hold a mindfulness workshop for Daybreak Residents via zoom. She'll discuss how just a few minutes of mindfulness a day can help us navigate stress and even trauma with more ease calming our mind and body.
