Anndalyn Hobbs is the Resident Appreciation in Daybreak (R.A.D.) Award recipient for February 2021!

One neighbor nominated Anndalyn for the following reason, “Anndalyn is constantly using her creative talents to advance Daybreak’s sense of community. She brings joy, color, and positivity to everything she does. Her excitement and adventurous spirit is infectious and she’s always drawing others into the awesome things she does for our neighborhood.”

Anndalyn has lived in Daybreak for 7 years with her husband, five children, and Toy Aussie Doodle named Malibu. Her favorite things about Daybreak are the events and the many opportunities for residents to volunteer and share their talents. She works as an active full-time mom, freelance artist, and event planner for a small company that empowers women to find their mission, live principle-centered lives and be the best moms they can be.

Some of her favorite things to do are reading, painting with her kids, talking with old friends and new strangers, hiking, running, working out at F45 on SoDa Row, and serving her community. She is also obsessed with acai bowls, homemade cookies, mountain peaks, singing jazz music, and all things creative and thought-provoking.

Anndalyn readily gives to Daybreak in many ways including serving on the arts council, heading several of the art installations, coordinating events and projects such as the Art Walk and the paint stick art project from Fizz Fest that is currently suspended from the roof of the Community Center, and even offering her porch for concerts during the Alzheimer’s Rock the Walk. She has also been serving voluntarily as a board member for the LiveDAYBREAK Council.
