Dawn Riddle is the Resident Appreciation in Daybreak (R.A.D.) Award recipient for August, 2021! Although she is new to Daybreak as of last December, Dawn has made a significant difference in her community- especially in regards to the Arts. Dawn is an active member of the resident driven Arts Council and has been influential in advancing several arts initiatives within the community. 

She has opened up the first floor of her home for an art gallery, brings art to the Farmer’s Market from local artists, and is also a private teacher for individuals/small groups teaching the 7 elements of art.
In conjunction with the yearly art themed event Fizz Fest, Dawn worked with Zander real estate to host a resident art show.  She spent hours connecting with artists within the community to create the first Daybreak Resident Art show with over 30 unique art pieces!

Dawn is from North Carolina. She has been married for 26 years, has 3 boys, and a rescue dog named Mr. Mouchi. She loves being outdoors, the South, family history, southern and Italian foods, flying her drone and of course art! What she likes best about Daybreak is the variety of architecture and the lake.
