January V.A.C. Award: Lee Weech

Lee WelchLiveDAYBREAK wants to highlight Lee Weech as our outstanding VAC member of the month.

Lee moved to Utah in 2005 from Southern California and moved to Daybreak in 2019 with his two kids Jackson and Kara. He loves going to the Daybreak concerts, ski, riding quads, paddleboard, traveling, and going to live events. His favorite moment of the past year was when he rode the California sand dunes then went skiing at Alta all in the same week. His favorite Daybreak moment was the atmosphere at the Beach Boys Tribute concert. Lee says, “This just doesn’t happen anywhere else in Utah.”

Lee joined the Volunteer Activities Council in 2021 and has since thrown himself into the group. He has helped with the Daybreak Duck Derby, Winter Market, and Noon Year’s Eve. His favorite event of 2021 was one of ours as well, the Daybreak Duck Derby. He volunteered to help throughout the event but enjoyed seeing the kids get excited and run along the river following their ducks.

We want to once again thank Lee for all of the time and effort he has put into helping us plan and execute events. He has been instrumental in the success of our programs. Lee, thank you again for all you do for LiveDAYBREAK and the rest of the community!
