March V.A.C. Award Winner - Linda Murray

LiveDAYBREAK is highlighting Linda Murray as our outstanding March VAClindamurray-2 - Copy (2) member.Linda has helped with a variety of events over the last couple of years, including the Doggie Paddle, Raise the Woof, Easter Trail Hop, and Dragon Boat Festival. Linda has been an exceptional member of the Volunteer Activities Council and is always willing to help and go the extra mile. She’s built elements of activities for events, reached out and secured vendors, and helped with the setup and execution of various events.

Linda and her husband moved to Daybreak in January 2018. She has four children (and grandchildren) spread throughout the country, but one stayed close to home and lives in Daybreak. She is a retired ICU Nurse and Nurse Practitioner and has since used her free time to help LiveDAYBREAK plan and execute events for the community.

For fun, Linda enjoys going hiking all over Utah, skiing, the group fitness classes at the Daybreak Community Center and pickleball. Her favorite LiveDAYBREAK events are the fireworks show at the Lantern Festival, the summer concerts, and Raise the Woof. Her favorite moment of 2022 so far has been being able to resume all of our normal events and activities. She's looking forward to meeting more neighbors and volunteers and seeing all the fun that the kids will have at LiveDAYBREAK events.

Thank you, Linda, for all you do for us and the Daybreak community!!
