Congratulations, Zakia! Zakia Richardson is our new board member.



In November, Richard Piggott's two-year term as the resident voting board member will be up. Another resident will have the opportunity to serve as the new resident voting board member for the next two years. Our Nominating Committee helps select candidates for the election, and then each household receives one vote for the candidate of their choice.

The Nominating Committee was appointed during the August 31 Open Board Meeting. Below is a list of the committee members.

Meet the Candidate Night
On Wednesday, September 14 we held a meet the candidate night at the DCC. This was a formal meeting where the candidates answered questions in a panel format. The meet the candidate night videos can be found on our YouTube channel.

Candidate Social
On Thursday, October 6 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, we held a candidate social at the Azalea in the Primrose Room. Residents had the opportunity to chat with candidates one-on-one while enjoying light refreshments.

Voting
Voting will take place either via email or mail-in ballots. If we have your email on file, you will be sent an email on October 7. Each household will receive one code, and your registration code can be used once between October 7 and November 14. All households will be mailed a ballot on October 6. You will have until noon on November 9 to return your ballot via mail for it to be counted in the election. Election results will be announced on November 16 during the Annual Meeting.

Annual Meeting
This year's Annual Meeting will be held in person at the Megaplex Theater at the District. We will be celebrating this year's accomplishments and looking ahead to 2023. Join us for prizes, snacks, updates and more!

The candidates are Lisa Radke, Zakia Richardson and Scott Sherman. Lisa was nominated by a resident from the floor during the pre-election meeting.
