Please note the DCC will reopen June 1. Read the resident access guide for information on appointments and reservations to access this amenity. 
In order to ensure the safety of our residents and staff, the reopening of Daybreak’s facilities and seasonal amenities will take place in phases and will operate under new modified operating procedures under the guidance of the current state health guideline.  The implementation of these phases will be closely monitored to assess the risk and identify opportunities to safely expand operations throughout the season.


The Daybreak Community Center offers a Fitness Center, Gymnasium (basketball/volleyball courts) and indoor track free to all residents. For additional fees residents can enjoy group fitness classes, personal fitness sessions, a SplashBall League, room rentals and Child Watch.

Room Rentals

Room Capacity and Pricing
The target date to resume room rentals within the DCC is the week of June 15, 2020.  Capacities may be adjusted based on Salt Lake County Health Department Guidelines.  At this time, the maximum capacity for a room is no more than 50 people.

A 2-hour minimum is required for all room reservations. Any set-up and tear-down must take place during your scheduled reservation time. Audio/video capabilities are available upon request. a deposit of 1/2 the total rental fee is required at the time of booking.

Fitness Center

The Daybreak Community Center offers a fitness center open to all residents on the second floor of the facility.  Some of the available equipment includes treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, stair stepper, rower, upright bikes, stretch machine, various resistance machines, variety of strength training, free weights, Life Fitness cable station and more. 

Amenity Cards

Details
To access amenities, residents need to get an amenity card. Visit the Daybreak Community Center to pick up your amenity card and create a resident account. This card will provide access to a number of facilities including pools. We also provide a mobile option. Steps to Pick Up a Card 

  1. Visit our recreation management system, RecDesk, and create an account. 
  2. Visit memberships and fill out a Request for Resident Membership Form. 
  3. The DCC staff will review and approve your account. Please allow 2-3 business days. 
  4. Call the Community Center front desk to make an appointment to pick up your amenity card. Note that you do not need a physical amenity card to make reservations for pools, fitness center, etc. 
  5. If needed, the staff will contact you about showing a closing disclosure, settlement statement or warranty deed and an ID to prove residence. 
  6. Renters will need landlords to fill out a leasing verification form to access amenities. 


Card Details 

  • Each household receives up to two adult Daybreak amenity passes.
  • Children can receive a card starting at age 9 for use at the DCC. The first child card is free.
  • Children 14 or over can purchase an adult card with parental consent to use the amenities.
  • Children are not required to have an adult card until they are 18.
  • Guests or residents under the afe of 18 must be accompanied by an adult resident.

Guest Passes

Details
In an effort to accommodate residents and operate within the guidance of the current state health guideline, there will be not guest amenity access during the 2020 operating season.

Guest passes are available so residents can bring friends and relatives to the pools, Daybreak Community Center and lake. 
Day passes are $5 and can be purchased at the Community Center (cash or card), pools (cash only) or boat ramp (cash only). This pass allows resident to bring one guest per day to Daybreak amenities. Guests must be accompanied by Daybreak resident at all times.
