Ladybug Festival Information

This year's Ladybug Festival will be taking place Saturday, May 22,  2 - 5 pm  at the Eastlake Gardens Park, 10692 Vermillion Dr. S, South Jordan, UT 84095. We are delighted to have many of nature's finest little creatures gracing us with their presences such as live birds, ladybugs, butterflies, bees, and other creepy crawlies. There will also be nature-themed activities and giveaways!

Due to COVID we did presales for ladybugs and the festival. We ordered as many ladybugs as we were able to with a 20% increase from last year's demand. Unforantley we sold out of ladybugs and the event did fill a few days before the event. 

You'll need to sign up you and your children for a 1/2 hour time slot on Rec Desk. Wristbands can be picked up at the DCC prior to the event, or onsite at the LiveDAYBREAK information tent. Wristbands are required to participate in the activities and receive giveaways.

This event is for Daybreak Residents only and RSVP is required.

The Ladybug Festival is just around the corner and before the festival we are doing pre-order sales for live Ladybugs, while supplies last.

Why Ladybugs?
Besides being adorable, Ladybugs, or lady beetles, are considered a beneficial bug that helps rid an area of crop-damaging aphids, mealybugs, and other destructive insect pests. The adult ladybugs feed on these insects. They also lay their eggs among the aphids or other prey so the emerging larvae can feed on the insects, too.

Each bag has 1500 Ladybugs. The cost is $4 per bag. Limit 3 per household.
