June: Yoga in the Park
Summer Sunshine & Yoga in the Park: Ongoing until August 27th
One of the unspoken heroes of health is sunshine! "Along with boosting your serotonin levels, spending some time outside can help increase Vitamin D production, lower your blood pressure, build stronger bones, and allow you to get more quality sleep" (Learn more). Get outside and enjoy the great outdoor amenities that your neighborhood gives, or join us for Yoga In the Park!

  • Challenge: Get Out in the Sun 
    • Take a picture of yourself enjoying one of Daybreak's many outdoor activities in the sun (pool, paddleboard, trail walk, farmers market, Yoga in the Park, LiveDAYBREAK activity, etc.). 
  • Class/Activity: Yoga in the Park
    • Saturdays in June from 9 - 10 AM @ Lower Brookside Park: 4882 Fish Hook Rd.
    • Join your fellow neighbors for Sunrise Yoga. All levels and abilities are welcome to join in Saturday morning's vinyasa flow. You will just need to bring a yoga mat and a water bottle!
  • Prize: Yoga Mats
    • If you attend Yoga in the Park or show us a picture of you enjoying summer in Daybreak, you'll receive a Yoga matl! You can pick up your prize from June 27th - 30th at The Glass House. 

July: Yoga in the Park

    • Challenge: Get Out in the Sun 
      • Keep up your physical health! Per week, the CDC recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity and 2 days where you perform muscle-strengthening activities. Try to stick to this amount of physical activity for the month of July! (https://www.cdc.gov/physicalactivity/basics/adults/index.htm)
    • Class/Activity: Yoga in the Park
      • Saturdays in July from 9 - 10 AM @ Lower Brookside Park: 4882 Fish Hook Rd.
      • Join your fellow neighbors for Sunrise Yoga. All levels and abilities are welcome to join in Saturday morning's vinyasa flow. You will just need to bring a yoga mat and a water bottle!
    • Prize: Gym Duffel Bag
      • If you attend Yoga in the Park or show us a picture of you enjoying summer in Daybreak, you'll receive a Gym duffel bag! You can pick up your prize from July 26th - 29th at The Glass House.
